Current Goal

The 2010 Burning Man was themed Metropolis, and in its honor this Trackable would like to travel to the great metropolises of the world, the ancient, current, and temporary like the city that arrises 

Burning Man is a week long festival in the Black Rock Desert of northern Nevada that celebrates community and art and brings together thousands of participants and volunteers from around the world for a leave-no-trace event. 

The original of this ticket traveled from it's origin in San Francisco to my tiny metropolis of Clatskanie, OR, then to Black Rock City, Nevada and on to Texas when I moved in 2011.

Hi there, Thanks for sharing the TB with me at the Geocachers meeting at Burningman!
I apologize I have not drop it off, but he was traveling with me all this time.. the Burningman2010 TB has been already to Ecuador in South America and then here in Florida, Washington DC but now is time to start its real trip from cache to cache... Soon I will go to NYC which will be his second formal metropolis to visit after Burningman11

My poor trackable, I remember sending it out into the world with such hopes that it would travel far and wide. One of the others in the batch of 5 I made (the Flipside ticket) has already made it to Europe. Hopefully the 2010 ticket trackable will resurface and someone didn't decide to make it into a keepsake of their Burn.
