[navy]KoolKath has been here, so now it's my turn! Although she might not log it, as usual! Today, LiLi picked me up, one of the ladies who understands multi dimensional synchrotron X-ray diffraction, to show me around in Beijing. Already yesterday, I had a great visit of the Summer Palace, missed out the caches there in the north... always under supervision of a guide. So, a virtual cache is fine - I told LiLi, there is a waypoint from a kind of online guide which brings me into places the main stream probably wouldn't go to. And LiLi agreed, she has been plenty of times guiding visitors through here, but has never been at GZ. I see, we do crystallography as one of the tools of our profession. Yesterday morning, I visited a crystal growth facility locates at the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Today, I am more on quartz, while tomorrow I'll travel to Changchun to give a talk investigating Zirconium crystals, Titanium and others. Well done, TFTCM!
