Current Goal

Help this bug get to a California cache entitled "Peace Of Mind" by Thefogheads N37 16.578 W122 09.138

About This Item

While out caching one day, we had the opportunity to bump into some fellow cachers. We had never met any other cachers while out hunting, and were lucky enough to meet Thefogheads. Two super nice people that we really enjoyed meeting. Please help this bug get some peace of mind by reaching its rightful owner, the fogheads. Along the way may this bug help to bring people together in the spirit of peace and geocaching.
Thanks for helping this bug reach its goal.

Because of the peaceful story of the church at the "MMT-Die Rettung"-Cache i decided to place the TB there.

Following the tradition of Travel Bugs, I wanted to add something to the keyring that contributes to the motto of this TB.
As you can see of the picture, I added the "Münchner Kindl" (originally pictured on Munich's coat-of-arms and now the city's unofficial emblem) to they keyring. As Munich was one of the centres of peace movement and resistance against the recent war in Iraq, this seems appropriate for a "Peace Seeker".

About the Münchner Kindl (literally: Child of Munich): The Münchner Kindl is the symbol of Munich. Historically, it's a monk in a black robe with yellow trim (the city colors of Munich). Munich was founded by monks; the name München comes from Mönche, the word for "monks."

May this TB find more places of peace.

Sorry it took me so long to drop this off. We had an oppurtunity to visit Munich GE and so I found the nearest Cache and put it in. I added a 34th ID "Coin" to the chain and sent it on it's way. Hopefully others will continue to add items to it. Tom Heinrich

This travel bug is now in the faithful hands of the 34th Inf. Division (HHC) from Rosemount Minnesota. How ironic that several of us were visiting Tybee Island and Colonel Smut's War Chest and found a travel bug from Minnesota. We have been deployed to Kosovo and so this travel bug will travel with us to either Germany or Kosovo. (Because of the land mines in Kosovo I'm reluctant to open a cashe there) So, sorry, but this bugs got some traveling to do. Expect him to pop up just after January. For now, he's good luck for us. We'll keep him in good hands. (PS, The wooden Nickel is from Anoka MN and I'm from Brooklyn Park MN, About 8 miles away.)
