The Czech Republic is a small country in the middle of Europe. You can visit Prague, Cesky Krumlov and Olomouc. Then you can travel around the world and expand this information.

Prague Castle belongs to the most remarkable cultural and historical monuments in Prague. The construction began around the year 800 by Prince Bořivoj from the Přemysl Family. The medieval fort was fortified by a moat and mound made from stone and clay. These days the Prague castle complex consists of three courtyards, numerous gardens and other significant historical buildings. The most famous part of the complex is St. Vitus´s Cathedral. The most important king who had his residence here was Charles IV.  Since 1918 Prague castle has been a residence of Czech presidents. Prague castle is also an important cultural centre and is one of the most visited places in Prague.

Český Krumlov is not a large town which adds to its charming atmosphere. It has been included in the UNESCO list of the World Heritage sites since 1992. The history of Český Krumlov started to be written in 1253 when the town was mentioned for the first time in a document belonging to Přemysl Otakar II, the Moravian margrave and Duke of Austria and Styria, the future Czech king.The town is dominated by a huge chateau and castle which is, after  Prague Castle, the second biggest chateau complex in the Czech Republic.

The Olomouc region covers the central part of Moravia. Olomouc had been the seat of Moravian bishops since 1063. After Prague it is the second most significant urban conservation area in the whole of the Czech Republic. The holy trinity Column in the city’s main square is on the UNESCO Heritage List.It was built between  1716 – 1754 and represents a wave of baroque marble, Marian and honourable columns.
