About This Item

Our bug before take-off!

We are the Travel Scissors group and we are taking a virtual roadtrip across the United States!   

We are a group of four 5th grade students at Community of Peace Academy in St. Paul, MN. Whenever our travel bug is moved to a new state we will teach our classmates about the state where it was placed. Through our bug's travels, we will learn about our United States!

Please move our bug as soon as possible.  We don't want to be stuck in one place for too long, and we will only be 5th graders until June, 2012! 

If possible, please give a little information about the state you drop the travel bug in. Pictures (especially showing our bug in a new place) would be awesome!  Thanks for being a part of our learning!

Retrieved from a nice cache in Monte Sani State Park, high above Huntsville, ALabama. That city is the home of the US Space and Rocket Center, where Space Camp is held - whoo hoo. Yes, the state park is still open during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Space Center is not.

Auburn University is located is mid-eastern Alabama. They have a very good football team. Its main rival is as located in Alabama, but its name escapes me.

I will research where all this nice travel bug has been and will attempt to get it to a new state soon.
