France and Germany Star
Mission:
UPDATE 12/DEC/2017 - PLEASE RETURN ME TO SCOTLAND
I have an interest in Military history, hence the military themed travel bugs. The aim of this travel bug is to visit as many Countries as possible, particularly war memorials of either side.
The travel bug is The Royal Standard of the United Kingdom and is the flag used by Elizabeth II in her capacity as Sovereign of the United Kingdom and its overseas territories. Different standards are used in the Queen's other realms, and the Royal Standard of the United Kingdom is varied for use in Scotland.
The Royal Standard as used in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Accompanying the travel is a copy of the France and Germany Star, a WW2 campaign medal.
France and Germany Star (Copy)

The France and Germany Star is a military campaign medal, instituted by the United Kingdom in May 1945 for award to subjects of the British Commonwealth who served in the Second World War, specifically for service in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands or Germany and adjacent sea areas between 6 June 1944 and 8 May 1945.
