This bug is attached to a Yuengling bottle/can opener. Yuengling is the oldest Brewery in America. Located in Pottsville, PA they started brewing in 1829, 5 generations later they are still brewing there today. The goal of this opener/bug is to travel around the WORLD while assisting thirsty, beer-lovin' Geocachers open as many different kinds of beer as possible after that long day out in the field. It started its journey by opening an ice-cold bottle of Traditional Lager on 5/27/03 in Lancaster, PA.
Please, DO NOT acquire this bug unless you plan on opening and logging a "DIFFERENT" type of beer with it. After acquiring this bug and opening a beer with it - log info on the brand, style and type of beer it was used to open (multiple opens per stop are encouraged). If you have a digital camera, why not take a picture of the label and upload it? Let’s see how many different types of beer across the globe we can log. Please keep the message with the bug in a zip-lock baggie as you move from cache to cache. Thanks for playing!
