    • Found a couple lighthouses on a trip up north. Found a couple lighthouses on a trip up north, to Duluth, MN.
    • Another Duluth, MN lighthouse. I hope the little lighthouse visits some more.

    I stopped by the only Lighthouse in the Twin Cities that I know of and took some pics. I tried to find a cache nearby, but no luck I will either try another cache in the cities or I may be able to take it north to Lake Superior.

    • Lighthouse in Minneapolis. The only lighthouse that I know of in the Twin Cities Metro Area. It is at Boom Island Park in Downtown Minneapolis and was constructed for purely aesthetic reasons, as a tribute to the islands(now connected to land) role in navigation.

    I grew up up with lighthouses out our front window on Lake Superior. Many great memories of Iron Ore Ships, very cold water, and the Duluth Fog horn.
