About This Item

Pillsbury Doughboy - Poppin' Fresh Good!.jpg

Giggling his way to spokescharacter superstardom, Poppin' Fresh, the Pillsbury Doughboy, first introduced himself to TV viewers across the nation in 1965. Announcing "Hi, I'm Poppin' Fresh," he sang, "Nothin' says lovin' like something from the oven, and Pillsbury says it best." Since his creation, the Pillsbury Doughboy has become one of history's most popular advertising icons.

The Grizzly Research TB had a busy day! He took a walk in a park near the Bitterroot River in Hamilton and then went up to the pass at Lost Trail Powder mountain Ski area. He went for several fast rides down the Idaho side and a few rides down the Montana side. Then he did a drive by on Lewis & Clark Lost Trail Pass Camp, but the snow was too deep to look around. Then he went for a snowshoe walk on a trail to look for the North Fork Hideaway in Idaho. But alas, the snow was too deep to find the cache. Then he went to the Ravalli Lewis and Clark Camp #3 and climbed in to the cache to rest.

I found the TB in the Bitterroot Valley. He was next to a meadow that had many grazing Elk to keep him company. I will take him skiing tomorrow up on the top of the Lost Trail Pass and try to log him into another cache near the Montana - Idaho border.
