About This Item

Poppy the Puppy

Poppy is a plush 10cm long puppy dog that is mostly white with two black ears and tail. She is starting out able to 'speak' when squeezed (until the batteries run out!)

This Bug is a tribute to a friend's crazy dog of similar colouring that was always keen to go 'walkies' and would often join us on expeditions. Her favourite times were visiting the Sculpture Trail in the Forest of Dean on Christmas Day where we would walk off Christmas Lunch eaten at my Mum's house.

With our dog sitting quietly in the car, we would knock and see if Poppy wanted to come out to play and whatever the time or weather, Poppy was always raring to go. Apparently she would sulk when we dropped her off with her 'mum' and if she heard my car would bark and bark until let out into the garden.

This Bug is for all those 'mad dogs' like Poppy who would never be home if they were in charge of the car keys, lead and GPS. [;)]
