Current Goal

Penny hopped a ride to New Zealand to see if the climate was better than Alberta's and to visit her cousins. When not in the Southern Hemisphere, she will have to be content with visiting penguins in zoos.

I think Penny is the most travelled TB i have run across to date. Was in the area of the Bird Walk cache and couldn't resist getting Penny back on the road seeing some of southern Ontario.

Yes, indeed, the 77th Toot Brigade is still too lovestruck to do things in a timely fashion. We did the 5km or so hike up Mt. Hutt just west of Christchurch NZ to get Penny. We hadn't checked into her background and were quite surprised to find out she was originally from Calgary, not too far from our home in Edmonton! So on our trip to Ontario for our wedding reception (we like to do things backwards...), we placed Penny in the Bunton family cache, seemingly mere minutes before she was whisked off to further adventures! Cheers, Dan and Tonya

77th Toot Brigade found Penny in New Zealand, while on honeymoon. Apparently, they are still a bit love-struck and forgot to log Penny's journey back to the northern hemisphere.

I found Penny at the Toronto without the T's cache, http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=23199 it appeared as if she had just been dropped off a few minutes before I arrived.

77th Toot Brigade left two bugs from Canada in NZ, and is taking Penny back to her home province for a little rest. Then, maybe she'll travel to Ontario to see the loons and find a new home for a while until her travels continue. She is now a very well travelled penguin!
