Current Goal

Penny hopped a ride to New Zealand to see if the climate was better than Alberta's and to visit her cousins. When not in the Southern Hemisphere, she will have to be content with visiting penguins in zoos.

    Penny wanted to leave Flea Bay, and she had only been there for a couple of days. Hitched a ride with us back to Chch - mentioned something about wanting to visit Nelson, so we might have to help her on her way... will post pictures soon...

    I met with Penny at Amphitheatre, she was breifly re-united with Bob the Pelican, shes moved off to a new geocache, out towards Akaroa (while he had to stay behind). She also got to see meet some Llamas at Donovan on the way.

    I uplifted Penny on a very cold and bleak Canterbury afternoon, she's now sitting on top of my computer. Haven't come across any of her cousins yet but she has meet a flock of sheep! She'll be all set for another adventure by the weekend after a bit of R&R.

    Picked up Penny on my second attempt. She is now here at my flat, nice and warm, and catching up with Bob the Pelican. Tomorrow they will be sent on their separate ways after much mirth, fine food, and merriment.
