About This Item

The trophy was donated by Team Canyonero for the event and will be retrospectively engraved for the previous winners of our last event. The team who wins the trophy gets to keep it until the next event. They should log a find when won. It is the responisbility of the winners to get the "shield" engraved (if they so desire).

As we commented on the Event page, what a great day we all had. Enjoyed meeting everyone and had fun with the events too. Really surprised at our success in the rally. A bit of good luck, some local knowledge and a good division of labour all helped. Sincere thanks to all SA cachers who attended for contributing to the wonderful and friendly atmosphere, and particularly to Teams Piggy, Canyonero and GeoCoopers for the attention to detail in the organising which made everything run so smoothly and successfully. We have taken the trophy for a short interstate vacation, but Slider & Smurf will take custody of it over the Christmas-New year break and return it to SA until the next gathering.
