Current Goal

The mission for this Trackable is:
- to be moved/found by different Scout (or Guide) Groups.
- to visit members of the Scout movement in each continent.
- to form links with other Scout Groups.
- to return to 1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Group after its travels.

Feel free to add your Group Badge or District Badge to this trackable for other groups to admire. (Please don't remove them from the trackable.)

It was initially placed in a cache by a leader from 1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Group (www.framscouts.org.uk) who can be contacted via geocaching@framscouts.org.uk.

It was placed when David was running a Geocaching Activity near Durham Scout County's "Moor House Campsite" with another of the District's Groups, 1st Belmont Scouts. (See http://www.durhamcityscouts.org.uk/groups.php for details of the District's Groups.)

About This Item

Fram's First Buddy - just before placement

This Cache Buddy is in the shape of a Campfire and is attached to a 1st Framwellgate Moor Necker Badge. It was first carried by members of 1st Belmont Scouts whilst they were on a camp during an activity lead by David from 1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Group before been placed in a cache by some of our own Scouts up at High Force. The group that placed it included a Beaver, Cubs and Scouts. I hopes the Campfire Buddy will symbolise the fun of camping for Scouts everywhere.
