Der Caching on the Mars Geocoin ist der Nachfolger des Caching on the Moon Geocoins. Diesmal wurde ein Grundstück auf dem Mars für Geocacher erworben.Jeder Besitzer des Geocoins ist automatisch auch Besitzer eines ca. 1qm großen MArslandes in folgendem Gebiet: Area F-4, Quadrant Echo 4, Lot Number 010/0273. Der Coin ist mit einer Größe von 3Zoll Länge (ca. 77mm) extra groß und besteht aus einem drehbaren Innenteil, aud dem das Eigentümerzertifikat aufgedruckt ist.
