11-11-11 Multi Event Geocoin

In honour of our war veterns and our giving of thanks during Remembrance Day, the mission of this coin is to travel overseas to the United Kingdom or Europe, and log at least 111111 KM on it. It would be a bonus for me if this coin were to be photographed at an overseas cemetery that Canadian soliders lay resting.

Lest We Never Forget

This is a beautiful trackable geocoin, designed in Nova Scotia, Canada. It was made in honour of Remembrance Day (Nov 11), the day we remember and give thanks for those veterans that fought in wars so that we could have freedom.

I will eventually make this coin collectable, HOWEVER, it must travel first.  This coin must travel overseas first to the United Kingdom or Europe, and it must have over 111111 KM on it. It can be collected anywhere on this wonderful Earth of ours, but it must have at least 111111KM on it, and it must have made it to the United Kingdom or Europe. From there the coin is free to travel where it may, and I will change it staus where it will become free to be collected. Until then please let it solider on and rover the Earth. (Please try to keep it safe from mugglers.)

Update 11-11-13 (Two years later)
Happy humble Remembrance Day folks, please take some time to remember, honor and give thanks to those who fought so that we would have freedom in this great land of ours.

As of the writing of this note, my 11-11-11 coin has traveled 41385.1km, and is currently 'safe', back in the great ole USA. Many thanks to the Amercians who have helped the coin along its journey and rack up some mileage on it.

My only ask at this point in time is that someone take it on a journey to another part of the world, perhaps another country whose citizens too remember their soliders and contributions to the World Wars.

Update 06-05-14

It is with great regret this coin has gone missing, stolen probably. Someone decided to keep for themselves a little shiny cute coin then respect what this coin meant.  Soldiers took metal in the chest and died so that we could have freedom. Now, someone has taken that that freedom from this coin, just so they can have a little piece of cute metal in their eyes. To cherish something materialistic over what those solidiers did for us is very regretful. If anyone should discover its whereabouts can you please try to have to coin deposited to another cache please.

It is with continued regret that this coin has not been found. I am declaring this coin stolen. A selfish person has decided to steal this coin and its journey for his/her own instant self-gratification.  Shame on the thief that did this. I attended a Remembrance Day cermony today. What did the thief do today? Steal more geo-coins?
