Goal: Encourage all those all over the State of Minnesota to take part in the Minnesota Geocaching Association Cache of the Month Process!!!
Minnesota Geocaching Association Cache of the Month:
So, have you found a cache (in Minnesota) lately that you think deserves a little extra recognition (maybe more so than one of those Favorite points for Premium Members)...well, here is your chance...nominate it for the Minnesota Geocaching Association Cache of the Month!!! The good news...this TravelBug will tell you just how to do that!!!
Here is How to Nominate a Cache:
When nominating a cache, please include the
Cache Name,
Waypoint,
Owner, and a brief
Description of Why You are Nominating the Cache for the MNGCA Cache of the Month honors. Your description should explain why you feel this cache is worthy of recognition (without spoilers). As a personal belief of my own...though it is stated as a "brief description"; I think we are all capable of more then just a one sentence nomination (a couple sentences or a nice paragraph isn't too much to ask for...is it???)!!!
A Few Guidelines to Remeber:

A Member may Nominate One, and only one, Cache per Month
-
Self-Nominations are Not Allowed
-
No Cache May be Nominated in Two Consecutive Months
-
Temporarily Unavailable and Archived Caches are not Eligible for Nomination
-
Duplicate Nominations will be listed as a Single Nomination with each Nomination Included
-
The MNGCA Board, Webmaster, and Volunteer Moderators reserve the right to reject nominations based on content as well as edit the text of nominations for spelling, grammar, punctuation, or other formatting as needed
Timeframes and Deadlines:
-Please note; we will do our best to meet these, but please be patient if we miss our target once in a while...

Caches nominated in the current month will be included in the poll for the following month
-For example: Cache of the Month Nominations received in November would be voted on in December
-
Voting for Cache of the Month will open on the 1st of each month and close on the Final Day of each month
-
In the Event that there are no nominations for the current month, the runner-up from the previous month will be automatically selected for that month's Cache of the Month
-
In the Event that there is only one nomination for the current month, that cache will be automatically selected for that month's Cache of the Month
