1 Replacement for Brady Travel Tag

To travel to various places to help us learn about maps and globes as well as different communities and the symbols of the United States.

 It is being sent by the 2012-13 1st Graders of Bennett Elementary in Manassas, VA.  This travel bug is a replacement for our first travel bug that is missing.

This year we will be studying how the location of his/her community, climate, and physical surroundings affect the way people live, including their food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and recreation..  We are learning to recognize the symbols and traditional practices that honor and foster patriotism in the United States such as the American flag, bald eagle, Washington Monument, and Statue of Liberty.  If you would like to share information on those subjects, feel free to send an email to our teacher at maherv@pwcs.edu with the subject of 1 Replacement TB.  Thank you for participating in helping our travel bug his travels.
