About This Item

This is a kar destined to teach an inquisitive 7 year old about places that he can't yet go.

In your logs please tell him not just where the kar is, but something about the place that seems salient to you. Is it in a place of natural beauty? What makes it so? Is the eco system very fragile? Is it in a downtown area? How big of a city? If this kar ends up somewhere other than the U.S. (oh, please, please, please...), what language do people speak? What do children do for fun? What do people eat? etc. Kiernan has made it to an awful lot of states in his 7 years, but his horizons keep expanding. Please help.

    Got Kiernans Kar from the Hole Hunt cache in Cayucos, Ca and will send it to a COMPLETELY different environment! This little bug is on it's way to "Ethans Treasures" in Lake Havasu City, Az. The temp there is probably 30 degrees on average hotter than it is here in Cayucos. Lake Havasu is a large lake on the Colorado river - a very popular lake for many. Have fun little bug! Race on.

    We took Kiernan's Kar up historic Highway 1, north along the California coast just past the town of Cayucos. We took him to visit a cache right next to some old Chumash Indian grinding holes in rocks along the coast. Happy trails!

    We were pretty amazed to see this little guy, being that we had brought him home to Virginia with us from our vacation in Orlando. We decided to take him again and let Dad take him to California with him the first week in August. This little guy should really get some miles on him now.
