My owner's mom, who lives in Adelanto, CA (outside of Victorville, in the high desert between Barstow and San Bernadino) just started Geocaching, so my goal is to go to a cache in the area so she can find me. She also likes to go do outdoorsy stuff around Bishop, so any caches in those areas would also be fine.
1/10/04--After a long, strange trip, Antsy has finally reached his goal, and would now like to come back home to Minnesota.
I placed this bug in the Travel Bug graveyard becuase it appears to me that it is MIA. If this bug still is in circulation and you find it in a cache, go ahead and continue to move it towards it's goal, and I'll make the appropriate changes to this page.
12/31/02--It appears that Antsy made it out of the cache before the hurricane hit, so I'm making the appropriate changes to the Bug page.
1/10/04--Antsy finally reached his goal, and would now like to come back home to Minnesota.

Picked up this exterminator while attending the Shady Cove Group Campground Kash.
Sure could have used his help with the ants that have invaded our house for the last month. He comes home with us after the camping trip and not one ant to be seen.
Will move along shortly.

What a silly girl...I went off on vacation and left Antsy the Anteater sitting on the kitchen table (with another bug I was planning to take as well). Anyway, I'm attending a local pizza & cache gathering on Aug. 28 and will take it along to get it moving once again. Sorry I've kept it sooo long!!!

Whoops! I picked up Antsy and had him ready to go in a new cache I was going to plant and completely forgot!! (My caching days have been on hold for the last couple months as I've been shooting wildflowers while they're still blooming!) Anyway, I'm headed to Oregon next month and can take him with me and leave him up there or drop him off sooner somewhere locally if you're "antsy" to get him on the move!

Well, it sure is a small world!! I picked up Antsy in Apple Valley during a day of caching. Get home and discover he was placed there by Jeanthebean (Hiya Jean, how are ya!) I had met Jean while writing a story on geocaching and had the pleasure of including her in my story ... and, of course, we had to do a couple of caches. I had even picked up one of Jean's TBs (Not Yet Altared) prior to even meeting her. I'll be sure to get Antsy out moving again real soon!

Welcome to Adelanto, Antsy. You've finally found me after two years of traveling. Now, we'll see if you can make it back to Minnesota and your originator
