Diesen wunderschönen Coin habe ich am Ende unserer Rundreise durch Island gefunden.
Wie ich jetzt lese, ist der Geburtstagscoin am Geburtstag meines Sohnes ausgesetzt worden.
Da es nun wieder auf die Heimreise geht, wird er mit mir nach Deutschland reisen. Dort wird sich ein schöner Cache finden lassen.

It was time to say goodbye to my birthday present. There could be no better place than the Sudernes cache. It is on a point of land near Reykjavik, Iceland, that has a tremendous view of the mountains and a particularly nice lighthouse. While we were there, everything, the mountains, lighthouse and clouds, made shimmering reflections in the water.

This cache is right next to the Perlan. The Perlan is a landmark building on the top of a hill in Reykjavik with a breathtaking view of Reykjavik and the surrounding water and mountains.

This cache is in a typical (and beautiful) Flemish nature area. There is a "ven" (small shallow lake) right next to the cache; a very restful and relaxing location.

This cache is next to the plaza with the famous "Leaning Tower of Pisa". The tower itself is very beautiful. The effect of the leaning is difficult to describe, nothing like seeing it in a picture. It is very striking. You just have to go yourself to understand. There are other very old and beautiful buildings in the plaza as well. It is so special. If you go there, several hours will pass with you hardly noticing.

This cache is on a walking path from Corniglia, the most rustic and beautiful village in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. The views along the path of the cliffs falling dramatically into the clear, blue Mediterranean sea are simply breathtaking.

This cache is right on the most famous and romantic walk in all of Italy, the Via dell' Amore. The views of the cliffs falling dramatically into the clear, blue Mediterranean sea is simply breathtaking.
