BRAZIL. My son, Chad's favorite color is blue, and he chose to send his racing bug to Brazil. The goal of his Racing Bug is to go to Brazil and return to one of our cashes, which are under the geocasher name kayak&hike (Milford, PA/tri-state area).
His Racing Bug is trying to beat his twin brother's bug that is going to Egypt and back to a kayak&hike cashe. The boys are 5 years old, and they are starting to enjoy hiking and geocashing. The didn't want to let the bugs loose in fear that they would never see them again, but I told them that they only need to race them once. Then they can decide what to do with them. We are excited to hear the adventures of the bugs. Pictures would make this very exciting for the boys too, but please tell us a little about yourself and your adventures with the bug.
We went on vacation this year to Wildwood Crest, NJ, and the boys made friends with a boy from Brazil. They couldn't pronounce his name, so they asked him if the could call him Shovel! They had a great time together, and Chad wants his bug to visit his Summer friend. Michael has an interest in Egypt and mummies.
The racing bugs were won by us at Tri-State Treasures Six, which is put together each year by CaptainMath. The event takes place usually in June and is a wonderful event filled picnic with plenty of geochat and trackables exchange. We had a great time, and so did our twin boys. Check it out for 2013!
