Current Goal

I'm releasing my first Travel Bug to the world. Its mission is to travel the globe to all the places I'd love to get to myself one day! (Who knows, I might follow its path...!) I would love if people could take a picture each time they pick it up or drop it off, or even at famous landmarks. I love photography and my travel bug reflects this, so pictures would be an added bonus! Happy traveling...[8D]

Have you checked with Phantomlimb who visited the cache where fototour was dropped AFTER it was dropped there? He/she says in their log that they took "a" travel bug, but don't say which they took.

Hey, just checking if anybody knows where my Travel Bug is? Seems to have stopped here in October and not been seen since. I'd love if it could get back on the road. If you picked it up and forgot to log it, please can you do so now or I'll have to mark it as missing. Thank you! :)

I discovered this at a most awesome event at a beautiful location. Being a photography buff myself, I do have pictures from the site to share.
Now that I have read it's mission, I wish I would have grabbed it b/c I'm about to go on a big trip and could have shared pictures from lots of places, and hopefully of some aurorae, which is the goal of my trip.

  • Rocks and lichen at Tomales Bay California Here is what someone else who was there this day told me: 
"The bright orange trentepohlia is endlessly fascinating. The ranger who led the nature walk said it grows at only two California locations: here and at Point Lobos (which is near Carmel). It also grows elsewhere in the world, like India."
