I want this travel bug to make it home around or about the same time I get out of the Army and go back home. I want it to travel far and wide though, visiting every cache it can, but not remain in the same place for a while. I would like it to make it to Munford, Atoka, Brighton, or Covington TN, around December-March 2014.
This patch is the Aviation company I first deplyed with in the Army. We went to Afghanistan, where as an Apache Attack Helicopter (AH-64D) company, we flew over a combined 20,000 hours in a year. As a maintainer, I have the pride in stating that my company never cancelled for a mission on behalf of maintainence. We also lived up to our name, pulling pranks and jokes whenever we could. It is some of my best memories. It is the first company that I ever got my name painted on an AH-64D, one of the proudest accomplishments in my Army career. The Jokers meant a lot to me, and though we reflagged to the C Co Palehorses, I will always remain a Joker. My dream is to travel the country, backpacking and mountain climbing where I can, whenever I can. I want this bug to travel as much as I have, and even further, but I want it back to it's home in Munford, Brighton, Atoka, or Covington TN, so that when I get out, I can carry it with me on the Appalachian Trail, when I do my thru-hike. Thanks for helping it along the way, and remember
Jokers Wild!
