Dieser TB wurde von dem Chemnitzer Künstler Philipp Fröhlich gestaltet. Sein Kunstwerk trägt den Namen Kopf und
ist ein Daumenkino, welches Dir einen 360° Grad Rundgang um den Karl-Marx-Kopf ermöglicht.

This trackable is part of our ArtBugs2012-Series. Three artists from the German city Chemnitz created a artwork for this series.
Each artwork is limited to four copies.

The TBs belong to a geocache series. The story is about "lost" art in Chemnitz. The geocachers have to help a girl called Anja to find art in the city. Anja knows a lot about art but not how to find the art in the public area...

This big monument of Karl Marx is placed in Chemnitz. During the cold war, the city was renamed to Karl-Marx-Stadt (Karl-Marx-City). Mr. Marx was never in this town. There is no relationship between him and Chemnitz, just the big monument. The people of Chemnitz like it and there are no ambitions to remvoe it.

Out for a drive, I found this cache a while back and figured I'd get it to a unique location and dip it in the cache at the end of the line on our mountain. Interesting fact Mt. Graham in Arizona is home to one of the best binocular telescopes in the world because of our incredibly clear skies and very high altitude. The town uses special lights to decrease light pollution for better visibility of the heavens.

Brought this bug home to az with me. I'm out flying my rc plane and decided to dip it in my cache here at the flying field. Gonna put a few miles on this one before dropping it off.
