Coral the Racing Clown Fish has been roaming around the countryside and stopped to visit visited the cache Komungla Cemetery
With the prospect of a trip to Queanbeyan we headed down to Goulburn with the intention to find some caches while waiting for a call to come through. What a day !!! A soccer game this morning left me sitting in the car on Face=book Marketplace looking at motorbikes and two messages sent. Thinking I might end up in Wollongong this afternoon things took a different turn. I message came through about a bike in Queanbeyan and a fellow was having a look at 3pm. I had two hours to wait until then and found myself in such a dilema. I thought I could go past Goulburn and find some caches while waiting and save some time getting to Queanbeyan if we were indeed going. However, I also felt the bike would sell and got a bit upset (I wasn't having much luck getting one) thinking what was the point in wasting petrol for nothing I could use it going to Sydney. But sweet hubby said I was out doing something I enjoy and not to get upset. I hesitantly started down the freeway knowing the drive would make me feel better, and so I was in just a few short kilometres. We arrived at Goulburn and made our way to Komungla Cemetery. I hate snakes but wasn't caring too much today. It was easiest to walk the fenceline I thought and thus we did. My phone gps was misbehaving badly, the worst I have ever seen, I'd even rebooted it, so it was really challenging trying to narrow down GZ. We looked and looked but couldn't find anything. Not to say it isn't there. Next thing after constant message checking, a message came through with a proposal regarding the bike. My heart sank I didn't have all the money on me and couldn't raise the extra $500 needed, it was in the bank. Having said that I had messaged the seller earlier advising upfront of the entire situation I was in and would need to return to pay the extra unless he was willing to negotiate payment. So I advised I was unable to raise the $500. Next thing hubby queried me and suddenly I had an idea. The idea paid off and we were off to Queanbeyan. I got myself a bike, was absolutely stoked and enjoyed a cold, dark and very slow trip home. That's another story ! I got my learners on Thursday (2nd time after a long time) so this was a crazy new experience for me riding along Braidwood Road in the dark at 70-80 km/h all the way. There is no way I would have been riding that road under these circumstances if my fantastic husband wasn't driving behind me. I was incredibly fortunate not to see any wildlife. So much for the caching!! no prizes there except a claim to one DNF cache, but scoring the bike made up for it.
