1. PRIMARY GOAL - Partner with a geocacher (YOU) for continued movement… ANYWHERE you are going is good.

2. Now that we have met… request a timely “new” TB log post: Retrieve, Grab, Discover, or Note as appropriate to your encounter is appreciated.

3. When this TB is partnered with a geocacher  (YOU)… please let the TB share your geocache GZ experience/activity when you post to cache log by also activating a corresponding trackable log post of: Visit (aka dip) or Drop, as appropriate. Quantity is okay, really! (You and TB get rank & recognition progression with logged activity)

4. You are invited to enhance your adventure by considering participation in this TB's military style reconnaissance/recce themed scenario presented as follows.

MISSION of Field Corporal Dallas T. Coppell is to partner with a local "scout” (and that will be YOU) then perform patrol activities that are consistent with objective and goal when possible.

OBJECTIVE is to perform reconnoiter patrols, at will, for target acquisition, surveillance, identification and assessment for the “Task Force.”  (translation - log cache/GZ finds/visits)

GOAL is for trackable holders (YOU) to interact, role play, submit "situation report" (aka SITREP) and transmit surveillance photos, when able, to Task Force Operations aka call sign Aqua Lepus.  (translation - add some text to the TB log post and share a photo)

TARGETED DESTINATION is to visit all Austrailian states/territories, capital cities, and when possible have a picture of TB with capitol/legislative/parliment building in background. Otherwise, island hopping or activities in terrain that matches uniform is preferred.

THREE MISSING TRACKABLES NOTE   - The missing original and two remakes are different than what is in circulation now and pictured to the right. (Reference gallery "Chase" named links below for photos) [1] The original TB configuration released is a commercially made law enforcement trackable tag (6-point sheriff "star" badge) attached hitch hiker is a wallet sized plastic photo key chain with a right facing helicopter photo (see gallery "Chase-3"). [2] The 1st remake configuration (last seen in Ohio, 2015) consists of a small rectangular aluminum tag with a right facing helicopter photo (see gallery "Chase-3A") on one-side and a description on the other; original TB code stamped into the metal. [3] The 2nd remake configuration (last seen near Anaheim, CA July 2017)  is a home made rectangle shaped metal tag. The original ID code is stamped on one end in blue color. There is a letter "B" stamped in a corner. A photo of the real Chase-3 (Chase-3B) is bonded to one side of the tag. The other side has some text info, QR code and image of the missing original TB tag. A small clip, to add items to travel with the TB, is attached. If you locate a TB that is not a soldier in the photo on this web page with a homemade dog tag with a QR code; DO NOT CIRCULATE or place in a cache and please email the owner or post a note to this log so I can coordinate a resolution with you.

THEMED SCENARIO

A fictitious military style reconnaissance, or recce, themed scenario for interactive role play is available. A description of campaigns, missions, rank, skill levels, awards, maps, etc. can be found clicking HERE.

FERAL HARE-8 is the call sign for the trackable/TB. The hitchhiker is named Field Corporal Dallas T. Coppell, and is a team leader assigned to 23rd Recce Unit (Oceania). By partnering with this trackable, you will assume the scout position for this deployed team. Your activities (reconnoiter patrols) are in support of “Task Force” objectives.

HQ COMMUNICATION - A member of our group (ID: AquaLepus), when available, will act as call sign "Aqua Lepus" (higher command) and provide "radio calls" and mission opportunities via TB log note entries. You are welcome to role play as much as you desire. Have fun  and safe journeys!

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION - The TB configuration in circulation for this travel bug ID is a 3.75-inch tall woodland green/brown/black camoflauged tactical uniformed figurine with a helmet, black colored boots, belt & gloves. (As pictured above right) A small rectangle shaped metal "military styled ID dog tag" trackable (handcrafted) tag is attached to the figurine's back with a ring and pin. The original TB ID code is stamped on the tag in violet color with basic mission statement and the letter "C" also in violet color stamped in one corner. On the tag's other side is a QR code image; if scanned will link to this TB's web page. A gold heart shaped "lucky charm" is also attached that his "girl" back home has given to him.

WHEN TOUR OF DUTY ENDS - Human to human direct transfer is preferred, whenever possible, to assure team leader safety and longevity. Otherwise, traditional Geocache placement (drop) is requested. Please, no event table drop-offs.

TRACKABLE NOTE   - I want to thank KASCAN for gifting this trackable tag. His support and assistance goes beyond just this tag.
