'Disco Shoe' is in a family competition along with 'Hiking Boot', 'Sandal' and 'Tap Shoe' to see which one travels the furthest each year.  On Christmas Day the shoe that has hiked the most miles wins, and the owner receives a bottle of bubbly from the losers.
