To travel the world visiting scouting related geocaches. We would love to hear about (and see pictures) any scouting activities it participates in on it's journey.
On the 31st August 2013, my eldest daughter successfully ran a scouting geocache day at South Googong Dam. This was her leadership activity for the Australian Scout Medallion. The day included a workshop to teach scouts how to use a GPS, 15 traditional caches, 2 multicaches (reverse of each other) and a relay cache.
Overall, the day was a great success and hopefully we were able to generate some new participants in the geocaching community.
There is now a small series of geocaches generated to celebrate this event and my daughters achievement. The series is Em's ASM #1 through #6.
This travel bug has the badge that was awarded to the participants attached to it. This travel bug will start it's journey in the multicache that has been placed in this series of caches (#6). It follows the same route (some different clues) as the multi used on the event day.
We want to see this travel bug travel the world and visit other scouting related geocaches. We would love to hear about (and see pictures) any scouting activities it participates in on it's journey.
