To travel back home to The Sunken City of R'lyeh where Great Cthulhu sleeps dreaming. As the city's location still remains uncertain it seeks contact to the sea or other bodies of water that connect to the sea, so caches under water or on an island or with a view of water are acceptable.

There's another tale which recounts the same incident told by H. P. Lovecraft in The Call of Cthulhu. In 1925 some sailors accidently landed on a strange island that appeared to have suddenly risen from the southern Pacific Ocean. The island consisted of buildings of abominable architecture and loathsome statues. During the excursion a member of the crew chipped a piece of stone off a statue and took it as a souvenir. All but two sailors met their unspeakable demises on the island and only one of them was able to survive the voyage to the nearest harbour. After that little is known of the journey of this stone fragment. It has been lost many times and it seems to have a will of it's own to seek water.

H. P. Lovecraftin The Call of Cthulhu -novellin tapahtumista on toinenkin tarina. Vuonna 1925 eräs merialus rantautui oudolle saarelle, joka vaikutti hiljan nousseen eteläisestä Tyynestä valtamerestä. Saari koostui iljettävää arkkitehtuuria olevista rakennuksista ja inhottavista patsaista. Tutkimusretken aikana eräs miehistön jäsen iski itselleen palan kivipatsaasta matkamuistoksi mukaansa. Kahta merimiestä lukuunottamatta koko miehistö kohtasi saarella sanoinkuvaamattoman kuolemansa ja vain toinen heistä selvisi lähimpään satamaan. Kivisirpaleen seuraavista vaiheista ei ole juurikaan tietoa. Se on kadonnut useita kertoja ja näyttäisi ikään kuin pyrkivän veden ääreen.
