About This Item

I am Daisy the Travel Bug Cow.  I would like to moo-ve from geocache to geocache to find out if it is true that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.  If you have any thoughts about this, let me know when you log my moo-ve.  Thanks for keeping me on the moo-ve.

After a year of travels and nearly 9,500 miles, Daisey retured home.

After a fews days of rest, Daisey is off again for greener pastures.

Help her mooo-ve and keep the owner advised with logs and pictures.

Daisy was a little disappointed. She thought she was going to find all kinds of other cows and lots of green grass here, but it turned out to be a cache by water! (But it's still a very nice cache, so she calmed down after a little while.)

Daisy visited our favorite travel bug hotel today. She was very impressed by the nice grassy path to the cache.

  • Daisy loved the long, green grass on the trail. Daisy really thought this was the place to stay, but Mrs. CBIIJ promised her she'd drop her at a cache whose owner is a flight attendant. She knows she'll retrieve her and make sure Daisy gets to see lots of far-flung exciting new places.

Mrs. CBIIJ was supposed to cut the grass today, but when she noticed I had been dropped in her Langley Lake cache, she immediately turned the mower off and headed out to get me. Check out the pic and see if you think she should get busy!( I'm glad she gave me a chance to chow down for a little while! The grass is pretty tall. She told me it was due to the unusually warm summer up here in northern Wisconsin. She also said it's stayed a lot greener than normal this summer, too, because there has been lots of rain just often enough to keep things fresh and moist.)

  • Yummy! Nice green grass!
  • Is it greener on the other side of the fence?

We took Daisy for a nice little drive to several of our woodsy caches - thought she might enjoy a change of pace from the open grassy spots.

Retrieve It from a Cache 8/10/2012 cbiij retrieved it from Langley Lakeside Wisconsin   Visit Log

We couldn't resist retrieving Daisy from our cache today, as we are true Wisconsinites - love milk, cheese, and cows! It's always a mooooving experience when we run across a cow TB! We let her check out the long grass near our cache for a while. She decided the grass somewhere else might be just a little greener, so we're taking her home with us for a while.

  • REALLY tall grass at Langley Lakeside! It's pretty green, but there's some yellow stuff in here, too, so I think I'll check out some more spots.
  • Daisy found a yellow flower That's a cool flower, but I don't think it's a daisy.

I found some grass at the Langley Lakeside cache site today and Daisy wanted to stay there to start her travels. The grass there may not be greener than where she spent the day yesterday but it sure is longer there. She will eat there a day or two and then would like to be Moo-ved to greener pastures.
