... auf (hoch-)deutsch „Es ist, wie es ist“, und übertragen „Sieh den Tatsachen ins Auge“

Das kölsche Grundgesetzt ist eine Zusammenstellung elf mundartlicher Redensarten aus Köln und dem Rheinland. Es ist eine Hilfestellung in allen Lebens- und Gefühlslagen und, ähnlich wie die 10 Gebote, eine Basis zur Entscheidungsfindung in den Höhen und Tiefen des Lebens – es macht es ein bisschen schwerelos und ist eine Anregung, nicht immer alles so ernst zu sehen.

Dieser Travel Bug mit dem ersten Paragraphen des kölschen Jrundjesetz soll rund um die Welt reisen und so viele Länder und Menschen treffen wie möglich. Er soll ihnen beim Lesen der 11 Paragraphen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern und ihnen einen Lichtschein in ihren Tag schicken.

Die Botschaft ist: Nimm nicht alles so ernst und vertraue in dich und in das Leben!

The “Cologne Law” is a compilation of eleven dialect expressions from cologne and the whole Rhineland. It gives you support in every life- and emotion circumstances and, like the Ten commandments, a base to find your right decision in the ups and downs of your life – it makes it more lightly and a suggestion to live less seriously.

         §8     “Fare well but not to often” // “Take care of your health”

         §9     “What the heck is with that?” // “Always, first ask the meaning of life”

         §10   “Join in! Let’s have a drink” // “Follow the commandment of hospitality”

         §11   “You´ll split your sides laughing” // “Keep the healthy attitude to humor”


This Travel Bug, with the first article of the cologne Law, shoud ride around the whole world, visit lots of countries and lots of people. I want to see, how they are smiling while they are reading the 11 articles and getting a little sunshine in their hearts.

The message is: Don’t take everything serious and trust in yourself and in life!
