This Geocacher University geocoin represents the finest in geocaching, therefore we've bestowed upon it an honorary doctorate. It wants to stay in West Virginia, and attain other lofty goals, specifically caches located at high elevations (4,000+ feet) and tough 3,4, and 5 star terrain geocaches. Please don't leave it in lame caches! If the Geo-Ph.D. leaves West Virginia, please try to help it get back home ASAP.

Just did an awesome cache in WV that would have been perfect for this coin. Have a trip possibly planned for far Western MD next weekend and plan on a nite cache and a few other's along the way in WV. I am sure I can find a place for this coin.
Update: Dropping this coin in Gadgets at Decker's Creek.( GC1M90Y) Possibly the best cache I have ever done.

Finally! This coin was to travel with us last year on a trip that never occurred. Then it went missing and we have searched for almost a year wondering what happened to it. Finally a couple days ago while looking through some files, we came across the plastic bag containing the coin. No idea....... But we 'll get it out to a cache, hopefully tomorrow, so it can get back into circulation. We apologize to the Wandering Bears, taking it was never our intent. Thanks for your patience.
