This TB was gifted to us by Groundspeak co-founder Bryan Roth when we met up with him at the UK Piratemania Mega on 21st July 2012. The mission is to travel with the Calico Crew as they go cache to cache.
Piratemania is officially England’s biggest annual Geocaching event. The whole ethos is good, honest piratey fun for all ages. The first event in Europe to have achieved Mega status through organic growth, it’s a testament to each and every pirate that attends that it keeps on growing, year on year. 2012's event was fantastic and with Bryan Roth in attendance it was made even more special. Bryan Roth is Vice President/Co-Founder of Groundspeak and is responsible for business development and legal affairs. He also manages the trackable item program, promotions, community relations and advertising for Groundspeak. Bryan graduated from Binghamton University in New York and Emory Law School in Atlanta. He met his wife and adopted son Dylan at a geocaching event in 2001 (GC26D6) and they have since added a baby boy to their family.
