Emmy Award 2012 - Funniest Log

This coin was awarded for the winning entry in the 2012 Emmys  for the Funniest Log category... Thank you to all who voted!

It will now travel with me from event to event, and let people see quite how carried away I get with my logs...

The winning entry: Cov Space Shooter GC3CFDK

Before you read the log, here is a bit of background.  To get the cache, I had to complete a space invader game, which involved shooting up a bunch of aliens, culminating with this giant "space centipede" which kept on breaking off into smaller and smaller pieces, each bit attacking me.

Once that was defeated, the game was complete and the co-ordinates were given.  I went early one evening to get the cache, but it got too dark to find it, even with a torch.  Besides, I had a meeting I had to get to, so I left it. 

The following weekend I went back during the day, and found it.  Great container, btw - not your standard micro, certainly!  I logged my find, and went off to get another couple of local caches.  

It was at the next cache that I realised that I had signed the date incorrectly - I had put down the next day's date by mistake!  So, rather than drive back to the cache and edit it, or put a note in the log that I had made a mistake, I decided to take a different approach...
