CZ: Ahoj, jsem malá želvička Angie a mám ráda vodu. Proto často navštěvuji místa, kde se nachází studánka, potůček, řeka, rybník, jezero a ze všeho nejraději mám moře.

Pomoz mi prosím navštívit co nejvíce míst u vody a poznat, jak velké a slané je moře.

(CZ) Želvy (Testudines) se od ostatních plazů odlišují především tím, že mají tělo chráněno krunýřem a i díky němu můžeme určit, že žily na Zemi už před více než 220 miliony let. Skupina mořských želv se od želv sladkovodních odštěpila zhruba před 100 miliony lety. Mořské želvy se od suchozemských a sladkovodních želv odlišují především přítomností solných žláz ukrytých v lebce, končetinami přeměněnými v ploutve a redukovanějším, tedy na pohyb v moři lépe adaptovaným krunýřem.

(EN) Turtles (Testudines) differ from other reptiles mainly in that they have a body protected by a carapace, and thanks to it we can determine that they lived on Earth more than 220 million years ago. A group of sea turtles split from freshwater turtles about 100 million years ago. Sea turtles differ from terrestrial and freshwater turtles mainly by the presence of salt glands hidden in the skull, limbs transformed into fins and a more reduced carapace, which is better adapted to movement in the sea.

Tak tady to bylo pro změnu zase kousek od Splavského a Semovického rybníka. Rybám jsem vodu v dnešním vedru docela záviděl. :-)
