Wow what a great start this beauty has had! Isn't it cool to visit our nation's Navy recruit training base?
I have a quick story bout this awesome place. One night in NJROTC boot camp the drill instructors woke us up and assembled us outside in the parking lot. They half left faced us and left us there wondering why we were standing in formation doing nothing. A short while later the Hale Bopp comet slowly flew over our barrack. It was memorizing and we watched fly across the sky. Its a mental picture I hope I never forget.
