Take me fishing, I want to catch a big one! Anywhere works. Just post pictures of me fishing - especially fly fishing. Ontario is especially special to me so keep me domestic. 

When fishing, size matters! The biggest fish landed will get their own coin!

About This Item

I designed this coin for Meridian Credit Unions Cash4Cache promotion. There were over 700 of these coins produced. You can get your very own unactivated coin to collect or use in the game by finding a Meridian trackable tag and bringing it to a branch. You can even win one of 3 gold coins. Search on Cash4Cache in the next week or so for details.

If you are wondering about the compass, it is a solar compass. If you point the number that corresponds to the hour (on the 24 hour clock) to the sun the coin will point North. Alternatively, you can point the coin north and the sun will indicate the hour.

This only works in the Northen hemisphere and I have not made allowances for changes in declination or the fact that the magnetic north pole is marching towards Siberia at an alarming and disturbing rate. So basically, it is for amusement only and to celebrate Geo caching. If you get lost using this coin to navigate, it is not my fault.

    I returned this TB to Canada and dropped it at Wawa Wild Goose I had a great week fishing at Happy Day Lodge on Lake Windermire. I just didn't have access to Geocaching web site to log this TB until a week later. Had fun traveling with this TB. Glad I was able to return it to Canada. I had great karma fishing all week because of it. Great weather and tons of great fish. Thanks for the TB
