About This Item

Original TB

I honor my father, Zoltan Michael, by releasing this Brass Bell on his 80th birthday to travel around the world, because he was unable to. He worked long hours to support his wife and 5 daughters: Linda, Carol (now deceased), Gayle, Barbara and Michelle. We had a wonderful childhood in Ohio, for which I shall always be grateful. We have given him 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandkids. Thank you for helping me honor him.

My father passed away on August 13, 2008 from complications of colon cancer. God bless him, as he joins my sister, Carol (travel bug Ghost Spirit), to travel together in a heavenly journey. He's now at peace.

Collected 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' from the 'Adur River' cache. It was a grey day with the threat of rain most of the time but the views along the river were still good despite this. We cycled up from Lancing, round Shoreham Airport, stopping for a drink along the way.
On the ride back and up to the next cache, River View, we had no problem with walkers not knowing we were approaching as 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' was tolling for us. It has an amazing ring on it so you cannot approach people quietly. The Travel Bug wants to go round the world and I will endeavour to keep it travelling and hopefully to somewhere interesting.

We had a nice walk alongside the Adur river passing Shoreham Airport and Lancing College, we had a rest on a steam train, see photo, before finally coming upon the cache, it has been a pleasure ringing the bell for you, I hope it gets across the channel soon.
