The mtn-man admin brick geocoin comes from an idea I had several years ago. It was meant as a bit of comic relief for the reviewers and Groundspeak employees. The legend of the admin brick grew slowly over time. At a gathering of some geocaching buddies, I was given an actual brick with the www.geocaching.com logo painted on one side and "Admin Brick" painted on the other side. I treasure it still. The admin brick has been written into the current forum guidelines and you will see it featured in my forum signature line as well.
I actually took a picture of the real brick that was given to me and used it as the model for the coin you see. The irregular shape of the coin and the holes are patterned after that actual brick. The front of the coin simply has my name and web site address. The back of the coin says "Volunteer Reviewer Since 1891." Once again, that is written into my forum signature line. These bricks are trackable on www.geocaching.com and have their own custom icon.
