Hi my mission is to travel from cache to cache around the British isles visiting as many fishy places in between as possible.( rivers, ponds, lakes, reservoirs, aquariums, fish shops etc, etc) If at all possible but not compulsory normal cache drops will do as well. I would like to travel from Devon into Cornwall, across the south coast and up the east coast of the British isles to Scotland with a visit to Kingston upon Hull along the way which is where my owner comes from. I would like to finish my journey around this wonderful island by coming down the west coast gathering as many fishy tales as possible before returning to my now home in Halsdon woods in North Devon.( WOOD IN THE WOODS series 2 ) I would love, if at all possible to meet up with my fellow fishy friend PERCY THE PERCH (travel bug dog tag ) who is doing the reverse to myself and travelling clockwise around the British isles. If we could meet one day on our journey to share our fishy adventures that would be fantastic.
Hi my name is CYPRY the CARP and i get my name from a book which my owner once read called CYPRY the story of a carp. This was a book written by Peter Mohan a legend amongst the world of angling. This is the story of a carp from conception until it reaches record size and its numerous adventures and discoveries as it moves round the quiet lake in which it lives. Running parallel whith the carps development is the story of a young a boy who watches the spawning of the fish and spends much of his time observing and trying to catch CYPRY the shoal leader conceived on that day. Both my owner and his late father were very keen fishermen which is why myself and my fishy friend PERCY the PERCH were chosen. We are both really looking forwards to all the places we may visit. and any photos would be really appreciated of our fishy adventures. I really hope PERCY and i can meet up again be it on our travels or when we are reunited with our owner with many a fishy tale to tell just like CYPRY in the book.
