The mission for this travel bug is to travel from each Vietnam Veteran Memorial in every state in the US including to the one in Washington D.C and then make it back to Portland to give to a Veteran as a gift. Please post pictures of the travel bug and each memorial it visits to show my grandfather.
My Grandfather served in the Vietnam War and as my first Travel Bug my boyfriend thought of the amazing idea to spread his story. In doing so I want this bug to make it across the US just like he has. Some of you that have found this at the memorials may have even known my grandpa, he is very well known for the keychains that he makes (that are attached to this bug) as well as the book that he wrote titled "Running With the Hounds".
Feel free to post pictures of other veterans you may know along with their stories or any message they may have to other veterans of the war.
