"De Schnidder" Travel Bug Dog Tag

“De Schnidder” are all from Kassel (Germany). And Kassel is international well known for its museums, the Bergpark (world cultural heritage side) and especially for the “dOCUMENTA”, the world’s most important exhibition of contemporary art.

To do our own very special dOCUMENTA-action, we had the idea to collect as many handmade things as possible from all over the world. At the first Day of the Documenta 14 ( 10.6.2017) we want to exhibit the results at our Facebook-Side or at a blog.

So we would be really happy, if you took part, too. Please make pictures from any of your fantastic handmade products and save them here at the “Documenta 14” file.

In addition you may send us pictures from you and the Travelbug. We are looking forward for the results.

"De Schnidder" are four friends who makes clothes and accessories from history, fantastic objects and a many other things by ourselves.

We are friends for years and since quite a long time we do historical inspired clothes and accessories, fantastic props and all kinds of other creative stuff, that come to our minds. “De Schnidder” is local dialect and means “The Tailors” and therefore that we are very much connected to our local scene, we chose this name for our group.

Sometimes, we dress up in our costumes and take a walk at all the lovely and historical places here in Kassel and nearby.

We do this only for us and don’t want to sell anything. It is only a hobby and meanwhile a real passion.
