Ondanks dat er ook in Edam en Gouda kaas wordt gemaakt en verhandeld is Alkmaar is DE kaasstad van Nederland. De Travelbug heeft een kaas, klompjes en een Molensteentje bij zich.
Natuurlijk zijn er nog veel meer soorten kaas, en Alkmaartje is daar erg benieuwd naar.
