My name is Ambition and I have had 2 jobs for quite some time. My human and I are long time members of a Flyball team. My job is to race over some jumps to a box that spits out a tennis ball. I must catch it and then return it to my human whereupon another team member dog races down the lane of jumps to get his ball and return and so on. We compete in a relay against another team with 4 dogs on each team and whoever has the fastest time, wins. It is great fun. I also work in the sport of Agility with another human. I get to run really fast through a series of jumps, tunnels and other obstacles at the direction of the human without making any mistakes. It is also great fun and very rewarding. I tried herding sheep once but I decided the sheep weren't very smart and didn't go very fast so I told my human that this was too boring a job for me to take on. That seemed Ok with her. Don't think she was very impressed with the sheep either. Although I have received many awards for my work efforts in many places around the United States I long to travel to other countries to see if dogs in the rest of the world have jobs they enjoy doing too. Perhaps I could find a second career now that I am older and can't run as fast as I used to. Please take me with you on your travels and if you see a dog, let me say hello.
