About This Item

Hi! I am an 8 year old Geo-kid from Australia.

The coin "Senor Amigo" will be put out mid August 2006.
Although it is a "not another micro coin" it can travel to any sized cache.

Yes, I know that "Senor Amigo" is a weird name so I will tell you what it means. It means "Mr. Friend" in spanish.
It is named after my Axolotl (Mexican walking fish)"Amigo"

This coin is the first one I have ever had, so can everyone please take good care of him.

Cheers

Freaky Geeky

Today we're heading back home again from Wisconsin and we dropped in to grab this quick find along the way. I'm logging this from the car as we make our way back home and as I tap on my laptop, we have another 3 hours of driving left before we arrive. We've been in the car since 8:30 am and will get home approximately 6:30 this evening - thanks Aussie Senor Amigo and Lightening McQueen for coming with us and sharing our adventures!

This weekend we spent with very good friends of ours in Wisconsin. They had invited us to stay and party with them at their property 2 hours north west of Milwaukee, home of Happy Day's the TV show starring the world famous Fonz and Richie Rich! We had such a blast over these past 4 days. Wisconsin is a really beautiful state and our friends are fortunate enough to own 15 acres in the midst of prime farmland. Their neighbours are the Amish folk - the nicest, most down to earth people one could ever meet. The Amish are a community who live by the basics, farm their own lands, don't use power, phone , motorcars or any modern conveniences. They travel from place to place using horse and buddy and always have a kind word and a ready smile.

While we visited our friends, we camped on their grounds and hung out with more friends, sat around blazing campfires at night, chatted till all hours and watched the sun go down over the fields and rise again in the morning. There were dozens of people invited to the party and just as many dogs came to play as well. We all laughed that it was like a dog convention there and they raced about non stop from sun up till sun down. Man! Are they gonnna sleep now that we've all gone!

There were tiny new born kittens in the barn for the kids to play with - so sweet!

We rode about on 4 wheelers and went skeet shooting, geocaching and sight seeing. We ate sausages cooked over camp fires and laughed with our friends!

What a fun time. Thanks Aussie Geo-friends for sharing our adventures with us!

Senor Amigo and Lightening McQueen hopped on Dave and Suzzie TEZK's motorbikes and headed off to Bedford to enjoy our very first "Where I Go" cache. What a great day we had today!

We really enjoyed this event cache. We got to walk over a very very old bridge, Veterans Memorial Bridge, in the middle of Cleveland city. This old bridge used to have a tram, trolley car route that ran to the lower levels during its hey day. These days, the trams are history, and no longer run. Today we got to walk the inner city bridge route and take a trolley car tour. So much fun. Then when we were done, we completed the event caches, which had us wandering throughout the city identifying landmarks and matching our answers to a series of photographs on the game pages we were supplied by the event organizers. It was harder than we thought it would be, but oh so enjoyable. What a blast we had today.
