Senor Amigo's mission is to travel to as many different countries as possible. He would especially like to go to the USA, Canada and New Zealand.
Please take him as far as possible!
Hi! I am an 8 year old Geo-kid from Australia.
The coin "Senor Amigo" will be put out mid August 2006.
Although it is a "not another micro coin" it can travel to any sized cache.
Yes, I know that "Senor Amigo" is a weird name so I will tell you what it means. It means "Mr. Friend" in spanish.
It is named after my Axolotl (Mexican walking fish)"Amigo"
This coin is the first one I have ever had, so can everyone please take good care of him.
Cheers
Freaky Geeky

Out and about with SerenityNow doing a Summer Solstice Caching Run!!! We were talking months back about making the most of the long summer days and suddenly a new cache run was born! Our 1st day caching we traveled from Cleveland Ohio Lexington Kentucky and grabbed 90 caches along the way. Man where we exhausted! We left home at 2 am and arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm - Ohio to Kentucky - the Solstice Trip has begun. Senor Amigo and Lightening McQueen came for the ride and what a fun time we all had!

It was a great day for a winter's hike through this very picturesque location. TEZK Dave and Suzzie and Lightening McQueen and Senor Amigo had the woods to ourselves today and we all enjoyed a brisk hike to GZ. We left the trail soon after entering the woods and made the almost vertical climb to the waterway below, slipping and sliding down the hillside on the fall leaf covered mud and rocky terrain. The waterway was so pretty and bubbled along it's rocky riverbed, over gentle waterfalls and through half finished beaver dams. The cache was located after a short search and we made our way back to the car, wind blown and chilled, but happy to have been out in the great outdoors enjoying our geo-caching adventures!!!

"The lame name of this cache comes from the sound of the 40 pound branch that fell from the tree tops and landed about 20 feet behind us as we were hiking through the woods to place this cache. Almost lost Bryan, but the tree missed. I think a crow actually tried to take him out. Right after the honker branch fell, this crow began cawing / laughing from up above."
We cracked up when we read the above description on the cache page, and because these 2 cachers are good friends of ours we simply had to check this area out. Man was that an impressive fallen tree! We're sure pleased it missed our geo-buds! We had a great time trekking through these woods today and finding the cache once we reached GZ. Those 2 Aussie Coins had a blast here too!!!

This was a really neat place to visit. Like Timeage, the cache owner, had to say, there's a very impressive staircase that leads "somewhere" from the end of a dead end street very near to GZ. We really enjoyed investigating this place and it truly was a gem to find in the middle of suburbia. The staircase was made of carved slate and set into the hillside in an intricate maze through archways and tunnels to the fields below. One could imagine how this place looked back in its heyday when it was part of an impressive network of gardens. Alas, today no such thing exists! The only thing that remains is this this truly wonderful staircase to - nowhere!!!! Thanks Senor Amigo and Lightening McQueen for coming along for the ride!
