To travel around the world and visit as many geocaches as I can. Please keep me moving! We would love to see a picture of you with the bug, either where you find it or where you leave it.
A medallion I picked up at The Arabia Steamboat Museum in Kansas City , MO. The steamship sunk on the Missouri River just north of Kansas City in1856 after striking a sunken tree. Over time the river changed its course and the Arabia was buried under 40 feet of fresh water and silt. Several attempts were made to salvage the cargo but failed, until theHawley family excavated and rescued, preserved and restored 200 tons of cargo and ship parts starting 1988. The museun is privately owned and receives on government funding. It is well worth a trip to Kansas City to visit.
