Thought I'd be able to put Spotty in a new cache deep in the forest in the Okanagan, however, during our family reunion camping trip, we didn't have time to place the new cache and so Spotty made his way back to Kamloops with us again. He came with B2, B3 & myself on a drive to Merritt to get a couple of caches. In the middle of doing a multi-stage cache, we stopped a an old graveyard to find this one. My boys loved looking at the OLD gravestones, but Spotty was a little spooked (and hot, with no trees anywhere nearby) so he stayed in the truck.

Had quick visit with Spotty and and a few friends and the gang had a photo op.

Spotty has been checking out many great campgrounds, and here is another one. We didn't have time to go down to the campground, but did stop at the memorial near the entrance of the park (see picture).

Spotty came out at this cache as well to once again take in the views (he could even see the last cache we just visited from here!). However, seeing no forests anywhere nearby, he crawled back into my backpack with my promise of a lovely forest back in the Okanagan - we head there tomorrow...
