13C13's To Infinity & Beyond - Buzz Lightyear TB

"I am Buzz Lightyear; I come in peace."

Buzz was activated a week before Astronaut Rick Mastracchio (aka AstroRM) took the International Space Station Travel Bug II by the 5th Grade Class of Chase Elementary School-Waterbury, CT (Travel Bug Dog Tag) on a trip to visit the ISS! What a cool idea!

Since our family was planning to host a geocaching event . . . "To Infinity & Beyond - Flash Mob" (GC4QCFR) . . . to celebrate this very interesting blend of geocaching and space, it only seemed right to make Buzz into a TB and start him on his own travels! He will always remain in our possession, but is anxious for cachers everywhere to discover him!

We might even post a photo of him online so others can also discover Buzz as he pays tribute to AstroRM and the International Space Station Travel Bug II by the 5th Grade Class of Chase Elementary School-Waterbury, CT (Travel Bug Dog Tag).

This Buzz Lightyear Travel Bug is a stuffed toy approximately 28 cm tall with a TB around his neck like a military dog tag.

Here are a few of the memorable lines Buzz comes out with in the Toy Story movies.

~ I am Buzz Lightyear, and I'm in charge of this detachment.

~ No back talk! I have a laser, and I will really use it.

~ It's all right, Space Ranger. It's a code 546.

~ To infinity and beyond! Approaching destination. Reengaging gravity. Hold on!

~ Terrain seems a bit unstable. No readout yet if the air is breathable. And there seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.

~ Local law enforcement! It's about time you got here. I'm Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger, Universe Protection Unit. My ship has crash-landed here by mistake.

~ How dare you open a space man's helmet on an uncharted planet? My eyeballs could have been sucked from their sockets!
